Welcome Aboard the Refreshed and Retooled SLAS.org!
The graphic design changes are obvious and we hope you agree they reflect the upbeat tempo of our Society. Not only is SLAS fortunate to have a tremendous amount of positive momentum moving it forward, it has the flexibility and agility to keep itself and its many programs, products, services and events fresh and in line with our scientific community's needs and expectations. The new SLAS.org is one very literal example of this.
To keep pace with everything our Society has in action at any given time, changes - both major and minor - are made to SLAS.org on an almost daily basis. In order to keep pace with the rapid evolution of website design, we proactively plan and budget to refresh this important online portal once every three years. This most recent overhaul demonstrates a new, streamlined approach to navigation that allows visitors to more easily identify and access the breadth of resources we have available on and through SLAS.org. At a glance, even first time visitors can easily recognize the energy and high-standards that have come to reflect SLAS, its mission and its members.
The clean and contemporary design aesthetic of the new SLAS.org improves readability, while enhanced graphics make navigating the site faster and easier with fewer clicks. Our responsive design embraces the new mobility of our membership, guaranteeing functionality and positive user experiences whether accessed via a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
The new SLAS.org is built to last on an adaptable platform that will accommodate future functionality, modules and best practices for websites. Ultimately, we strive to make the site as resourceful and friendly as it can be to meet your needs. I encourage you to pour yourself a cup of coffee and explore it. You may be surprised by what you find!
